TOI, August 8, 2007, New Delhi: Ten armed robbers broke into the firm house at vasant kunj in south Delhi in the early hours of Monday, tied and gagged the British family living there and escaped with case and valuable worth several lakhs. Within hours of a daring robbery, police claims to have arrested 7 Bangladeshi men involved in dacoity and recovered the booty. The gang was also allegedly involved in decoities and burglaries in Gurgaon last week, the police added.

TOI, October1 2007, New Delhi: A retired engineer and his son, long with 2 domestic helps were allegedly drugged by another, recently hired help on Saturday night in Defence Colony in south Delhi. The accused, who had not been verified by the police, decamped with cash and valuables from the house. Police said the case has been registered but no one had been arrested so far.
